Jerin Arifa

I’ve known Jerin for many years, since we were both undergrads at Hunter College. Perhaps more important than her feminist accomplishments, Jerin’s commitment to the women in her life is what I appreciate the most. Jerin practices the feminism she preaches, which is an intersectional, caring effort to improve women’s lives. She reminds feminists that our purpose is to make women’s lives better, and it must start with us.
